Communities for Just Schools Fund was celebrating 10 years — and they needed a website that reflected how far they’d come. Their original website represented who they were but not who they had become; it was full of heart but no longer matched the sophistication of the organization they’d grown into. The challenge was honoring that spirit while elevating everything around it.

Our solution: bold typography, rich texture, and a fearless use of color — organized with enough purpose that it feels vibrant rather than chaotic. CJSF came in with strong color convictions, and we built a system around that energy, proving that you can use a lot of color and still have it all work together beautifully. The result is a site that feels modern, grown-up, and alive — without losing an ounce of the authenticity that makes CJSF who they are.

Our partnership with CJSF goes beyond the build. We design their impact reports, crafting print and digital publications as thoughtful as the organization behind them. We also work with CJSF to promote their Beyond the Bell podcast, which explores the ideas, people, and movements shaping the future of education. It’s been a natural extension of the work — taking a strong digital foundation and building an audience around the stories CJSF is uniquely positioned to tell.
