  • Blacklidge Emulsions

Blacklidge Emulsions, a leading asphalt emulsions provider, turned to us to grow its business beyond its local footprint and build a premium brand in a commodity marketplace. The rebranding process was phased out over two years to update all elements of the brand—from the trucking fleet to social media. With a focus on marketing and sales, Blacklidge has grown dramatically, continually surpassing quarterly goals. We are the agency of record for the Gulfport-based brand, responsible for all PR, marketing and thought leadership.

  • Zoo Atlanta

In the summer of 2016, Zoo Atlanta contracted us to design and build a new, user-friendly website that would cater to diverse target audiences and increase their mobile site traffic and memberships. We built the site so that staff from different departments can update only their sections, and the zoo leadership can approve content before it goes live. We also built out custom features to enhance the user experience, including the Create An Itinerary app and a mobile-optimized map with real-time geo-location. After the site’s launch in 2017, sessions are up almost 100%, page views are up 65%, and the bounce rate is down.

  • Georgia Tech IISP

We collaborated with Georgia Tech’s Institute of Information Security Professionals (IISP) to enhance and improve the IISP website. The site has a diverse target audience, including corporate partners, federal agencies, faculty, and students. We redesigned the homepage and faculty directory, and created a password-protected page to house student resumes. We also developed a password-protected research paper database. In addition to these enhancements, we made a mobile-responsive grid display to showcase the Institute’s news and enabled a calendar plug-in to save events to users’ calendar of choice (Outlook, iCal, Google).

  • Woodgrain

As the agency of record, Sol supports ongoing marketing initiatives for Woodgrain’s family of companies. Over the years, we’ve named, positioned and branded multiple products. We’ve designed beautiful catalogs that capture the breadth of the company’s capabilities. Most recently, Sol created a fresh, consistent website design for three of Woodgrain’s premier brands.

  • Loose Canon

The founder of Loose Canon came to us with an awesome goal—to get kids reading. Together we created a fun, colorful brand that engages students and excites teachers. We then built a digital tool that allows teachers to create reading lists from a curated library and share them with students. Students can read, comment and share the lists with friends while creating their own “reading resume” along the way. Students tell us Loose Canon is making reading cool again . . . that’s pretty darn exciting!

However, he’ll be your best friend if you bring a treat. His current favorites at Sol: Shannon (because she feeds him treats and other delicacies the most often), Scott (because he always has a bag of treats on his desk) and his dad, Troy. Wheatie is also a service dog, so if you’re looking for emotional support, come give him a pet. We promise you’ll feel better.
